Theater : Les 39 marches - direction Eric Métayer

Marie : "I went to the theater yesterday evening to see " Les 39 marches ", of Alfred Hitchcock's movie " steps 39 ", direction of Eric Métayer. This show is played actually in the theater " La Bruyère " in the 9th district of Paris. "

This show is a pure madness, a small masterpiece of craziness. In London and in New York, it knows a big success. In Paris now , a real success too. " Les 39 marches " or « 39 steps », it ‘s a movie, in black and white, signed by the great Hitchcock. remember yourselves, a man tries to thwart only a devilish plot which puts the world in danger. By appropriating it, the theater delivers us a version in Technicolor and relief. Not need to wear 3D glasses, the comedians take care of all the special effects. An exploit because they are only four on stage! In France, few artists are able to swim as fishes in this comic river. There was at least one, Eric Métayer. He possesses the madness, the poetry and the necessary sense of the comic for this genre. His direction is of a terrible efficiency. It goes fast, very fast. The framework of the movie was literally respected, with pursuit races, changes of places and even monster of Loch Ness. We find the obsolete irony there which gives it the charm.

Marie : "I like very much the theater. Rooms are small. What makes possible a real contact with the actors. It 's little as be in the first rows in concerts. We feel the real intimacy with the artists. These exchanges are very enriching .
" Les 39 marches " is a big success in Paris. The performance of the actors is exceptional.
And nevertheless yesterday evening, I didn't manage to concentrate on the play. My thoughts were too strong, always of the same boy.
In the book which I read at present of Katherine Pancol, it 's written " … To want to forget somebody, it 's to think of him all the time … "
It is perfectly true!! "
