On the way to my return, I found my sister. We went to visit my mother in her nursing home.
We had a wonderful time all three. As we often did when mom was at home.
Today, mom looked at us, smiled and took our hands. She seemed so soothed.
We didn't want to leave her .
And what a surprise we had .. Because of her Alzheimer's, Mom doesn't speak anymore for months.
When we said "See you soon", she replied "See you soon" .. in French of course.
We were surprised but happy .. I love these moments ...
